Questions
What is free?
Everything that is public record about the property itself: the map, street and city pages, assessments, characteristics, flood zone, schools, sale dates and prices, and permit types and dates. Paid plans add who — owners, deed parties, permit applicants, appeal attorneys — and the analysis built on top.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your account page. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for and nothing renews after that.
What does “individual use” mean?
Personal and Pro are for one person researching on their own behalf or for their own clients. Sharing logins, reselling the data, or building it into a product needs the Commercial API plan — or one of the one-time lead lists, which carry a single-firm license.
Does the Commercial API plan include Pro?
Yes. Commercial API includes everything in Pro inside the app — owners, deed parties, permits, appeals, parcel intelligence, the ownership network, screener, trade books and exports — plus API access when it launches, under a commercial-use license.
When does the API launch, and what happens to the pre-sale price?
The API is in development; pre-sale subscribers get Pro-level access in the app now, the API on the day it opens, and keep the $200/mo rate. New subscribers pay $500/mo after launch. Cancel any time; pre-sale charges are not refundable.
How accurate is the data?
Facts are shown as the Cook County Assessor, Board of Review, Cook County GIS and FEMA publish them, with the source and as-of date on every record. Estimates and inferences are labeled as such and are not appraisals or legal advice. See the methodology page.
